Many potential entrepreneurs lose track when it comes to drafting their business idea into a business plan. Understand that a business plan forces potential owners to be specific about what they will offer. A business plan is also mandatory for talking with bankers or investors. That being said, don’t let the idea of drafting a business plan delay your opportunity to move forward. Let’s focus on how you can get the idea out of your head and onto the page!! Participants will learn what is: 1. A Business plan and why every business should have one 2. The business planning process 3. The steps to building an effective business plan

Free Parking is available on School of Podiatry (Parking Lot K) and opposite the Hubert O Sibley Elementary School (320 NW 115th St, Miami, FL 33168). Please enter through 115th St & NW 2nd Ave. Walking is about 10 minutes from the Business School. (Please walk straight between Dominican Hall on your left and Barry Soccer Field on your right), once you pass these landmarks, you'll see the Tennis Courts on your left and R. Kirk Landon Student Union on your right, continue to walk straight until you reach North Miami Ave. Once you do so, turn right until you will have R. Kirk Landon Student Union on your right as you approach Parking Lot G, cross the street as Andreas School of Business will be in front of you. Participants are advised to arrive early as registration begins at 10:00am and the workshop starts promptly at 10:30am.
